Five brave GoodGymmers battled the atrocious weather to join the lovely folks at the Pearson Street Adventure Playground.

Some purple mdf boards were picked up and carried single-handed by Alison, vast planks of wood picked up and replaced with other similarly vast planks of fresher wood, big heavy carpets of astroturf were stripped from the side of a stage whilst unearthing lots of creepy crawlers and rolled. Knot tying skills were recalled from yonder days of being Girl Guides and harnesses fashioned out of short pieces of play rope so that rolled up astroturf could be moved across the play area.

A real team effort was implemented and we all enjoyed ourselves.

We- Emma- was delighted to be invited to a BBQ to celebrate our last evening helping out on Tuesday 20th July. What more reason could you possibly need for not joining in with some fun work followed by delicious food and great company?
