Undergrowth, overgrown, gardening tool-free, the hottest GoodGymers in Southwark are we.
2 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Southwark.
- Sunday, 8th of July 2018
Danny and I worked on Ms K's garden in the midday sun to try and tame some of the grass and weeds that had taken over.
The challenging conditions included baking heat (and no shade), dry grass seed causing endless sneezing, and the only tools available being a very old, very rusty pair of shears.
Undeterred, Danny and I worked and chatted away, clearing 6 bags of garden waste and unearthing some interesting rubbish along the way.
I'm not convinced the before and after photos fairly reflect the blood, sweat and tears (mainly sweat) that went into our work, but it was an enjoyable mission nonetheless!
