Up Hill & Down Dale

My now regular visits to the Feed the Hill foodbank in New Cross for Ms L keep me properly grounded. While I as a volunteer, I am allowed to queue jump, I don’t anymore, I take my turn and say ‘hello’ to some of the now familiar faces. I chat too to Ms L, I stayed longer than normal as she’d ‘lost’ a friend earlier in the week and wanted to talk about her. The flowers in Ravensbourne on my run home seemed apt.
