Up the reds!
2 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Liverpool.
- Sunday, 29th of May 2022
Mr A has a lovely garden that has started to get overgrown following him falling ill. He was previously helped by GoodGym with his back garden but his side alley needed some TLC. Jo and Roz were quick to work clearing brambles, a grape vine and lots of rubbish from the alley to reveal a lovely old greenhouse. Mr A shared with us that he used to be a keen gardener with all sorts of fruit and veg growing in the greenhouse at one time. Within an hour the job was done and Mr A came to inspect our work! We got his seal of approval and headed home. On the way home we drove through crowds of LFC supporters, lining the streets waiting for the team to parade through the city. For a moment we waved as we passed by, imagining that the crowds of people in red t-shirts were cheering on us 2 GoodGymmers for a job well done (a girl can dream)!
