We couldn't get to the root of it but we gave it our best chop!
8 GoodGymers made their way 4.4km to help the ETNA in Richmond.

The sun SHONE on Richmond this evening, a glorious evening to be running and luckily 7 other people thought so too.
Mark not included we could have been known as the 7 dwarfs as we were on our way with a shovel and a pick and thankfully not a walking stick to cut down a tree at ETNA.
Before we set off high ho-ing our way around Richmond we gave the locals something to talk about as they enjoyed their sun soaked bank holiday by skipping and swinging ourselves outside Wholefoods as we warmed up. We then set off down the very busy streets, along the river and up a very impressive hill. After a few deep breaths we let our legs carry us the rest of the way down hill to ETNA.
Once there, before we could get to the tree we delivered leaflets to the local neighbours about the upcoming Richmond May Fair on 12th May.
Then it was time for some tree felling! Anita, in particular was excited as she was keen to build her stock of wood for her log burner for the winter so wanted to take the tree home. However she might need a few more blankets to keep her cosy as this wasn't quite the tree we imagined BUT....it was still hard work chopping it down!

We all had a go, a saw, loppers, secateurs and even a pick axe was on the scene trying to get to the roots of this tiny beast...well almost. It was awesome teamwork!
