This morning 8 goodgymers headed out in the morning sun to join the Wandle Trust help clear in around the river near Earlsfield.
Once we arrived we were given the safety briefing by the volunteer leaders and then donned our waders and grabbed our litter pickers before heading into the water.
The water today was particularly high as fast due to the recent rainfall which made it harder to see things to clear under the water ans also walk through it.
After 2 hours we has managed to make our way along a good stretch of the river before the heavens opened and the rain came pouring down so we finished there.
Once we were out of the river, cleared up all the tools and got changed we were treated to tea and cake by the organisers.
A fun ans very different kind if task which had people smiling, screaming and laughing.
Well done everyone!
