We'll do this case by the book!
2 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Islington.
- Sunday, 14th of April 2019
This morning I started off a trilogy of good deeds with a mission with the awesome Laura, who was also doing the same triple!
This first task of ours was very simple: Ms M is an artist whose mobility has recently been failing. She has a collection of art and craft books spanning a couple of book cases that she hoped we would be able to sort out for her, as she finds it difficult to carry even a single book by herself.
Laura and I started off by taking everything off all of the shelves so that we could categorise it properly as we went along. Aside from hearing about how she knew the authors of some of the tomes we were sorting, I particularly liked seeing some of the sketches and techniques Ms M had tried out in several of her sketch books. They were beautiful, particularly the plaster techniques! 😍
Within an hour or so, everything was sorted and we made our goodbyes to Ms M to head off to our second good deed: CREOS!
