For Jim Hunkins’ second mission of the day we were very warmly welcomed by Mrs R, being told how wonderful we were before we’d even made it out into the garden! One of Mrs R’s neighbours has a big tree that sheds leaves and twigs into her garden making it untidy and hard to get around. While Jim and Tom dealt with sweeping up those bits, I got to work scraping off the moss along the side of the house to make things a bit less slippery. After about half an hour’s work we were presented with cups of tea and more biscuits, including one of Jim’s favourites, Tuc ‘cheese’ sandwiches. With a final sweep and the bags taken out to the street Mrs R gave us a group hug and we headed off to meet the other mission (im)possible teams to swap stories and see if it was in any way possible that another team had eaten more biscuits than us.
