Weed made a good start

Here's what Ms M of SE1 had to say about the mission:
Spoke to Ms M who was grateful for the work the runners did tackling her 'jungle' of a garden and hopes it'll make it easier for her to get professional gardeners to help.
On a lovely sunny afternoon Rebecca and I met in Bermondsey to try and help Ms C get her garden back under control. We’d been expecting to just pull a few dandelions out from between the paving stones but instead were met with a mini jungle of knee-high weeds. In the two years that Ms C’s lived there the garden has been cleared several times and treated with a number of different weed killers but to no avail, they just keep coming back. With three gardening gloves between us, a common or garden pair for me but just the one for Rebecca, we got to work pulling up the weeds that looked a lot like nettles but weren’t. After an hour we’d filled four bags and made a dent in the job but there’s still plenty to do.
