What a load of rubbish!
5 GoodGymers made their way to help the York Greenways in York.

5 GGers met at Naburn old Railway station to help York Greenways assist in their clearout and move rubbish to a skip site nearby. Contrary to expectations we were pleased to see that the rubbish did not include the hut that GG had helped erect earlier this year! The rubbish included outdoor games, assorted broken chairs, gazebos, tarpaulins and other detritus which first had to be sorted into Three piles: wood, scrap metal and non-recyclable. The wood went on a bonfire nearby, and all the rubbish went through a small gap in a fence to a skip site nearby, where it will be collected on Monday. The scrap metal remained to be collected separately. After successful completion of the task we headed to the cyclist’s cafe in Bishopthorpe for a well-deserved socially distanced open air coffee and cake stop. The Blondie went down very well! Thanks to all
