What goes down must come back up!
2 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in York.

It was good to see Mr A again (and his wife this time). We'd previously moved a double-stacking type single bed downstairs for his wife to use but she is now able to sleep back upstairs. First we moved a small folding camp bed and mattress (which Mr A had been sleeping on) out of the lounge and upstairs into a spare room. In stages we managed to get both layers of the stacking single bed frame, both sets of slats and the mattress back upstairs. We put the bed back together and made up the bed, ready for whenever it may be needed by visiting family members. We were all done in around 20 minutes. Mr A and his wife were very grateful and insisted on us having a box of chocolates each! As Leanne was running (and I only live around the corner) I agreed to take Leanne's home with me as I will see her later on a community mission (unless I conveniently forget of course)! 😉
