...a tickled onion.
A four hour shift at City Harvest’s food redistribution warehouse in Acton Park was mainly spent sorting onions. A pallet of white onions and a second pallet of shallots were starting to rot and the volunteers were tasked with rescuing what we could and crating it up for redistribution. The rotten onions were set aside Either for for pig food or conversion into biofuel so there was nothing to cry about.
Shrek: Ogres are like onions. Donkey: Oh, they make you cry? Oh, you leave them out in the sun and they get all brown and start sprouting little white hairs? Shrek: We both have layers. Donkey: Oh, you both have layers. You know, not everyone likes onions.
