Wood you believe how much we could do in a short amount of time?
6 GoodGymers made their way to help the SouthBank Centre in Bristol.

Nick, Claire, Mel, Will, Emma and Shreena went to the Southbank to continue to help it prepare for re-opening on 4th July. It's a great community space that held several dance classes a week before lockdown including salsa, swing dance and African dance classes. The task involved moving items from the main downstairs area such as wood from under a stage area, cleaning products and foam insulation to the upstairs area for storage so the downstairs area can be cleared and cleaned ready for re-opening.
There were two sets of stairs so Mel suggested we used a one way system so we didn't bump into each other (social distancing and all that jazz...) which worked well, thanks Mel!
It was thirsty work so we were offered a drink at the bar which was something that we haven't been able to do for over 3 months! It was too hot for coffee so lemonades and lime sodas it was - thanks Jessie at the Southbank for having us and serving us drinks :)
