Working on our sixpacks
2 GoodGymers made their way to help the Braywick Heath Nurseries in Windsor and Maidenhead.
- Tuesday, 5th of September 2023
- Led by Windsor and Maidenhead runner
Sheila and Rachel arrived at a very peaceful Braywick Nurseries. Their task was to fill six pack trays with soil and fertilizer ready for the planting of the Autumn petunias. The day was gonna be a hot one, so precision planning to where the potting station should be was carefully taken. A slightly breezy outside venue was decided on. The " six pact " was on its way. The sun rose lazily and the heat slowly intensified, yet the tireless twosome " soiled on " with lots of chitter chatter, as per usual. Soon the towers of six packs were growing, by the end of the session they might of only grown two packs but they had planted enough trays for 1573 little petunias to grow!! A lovely way to spend a Tuesday morning!
