Worms are springing up over here
2 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Wandsworth.
- Sunday, 25th of March 2018
With a spring in our step, Jo and Helen jogged over to Ms M’s Home to help tidy and prepare her front garden now the Beast from the East and it’s little brother have been and gone!
After a cheery hello to find out more from Ms M - gloves and tools at the ready we set to work identifying the weeds from the plants and raking up all the fallen leaves.
They were a plethora of visitors while we chatted, weeded and tidied our way around the garden - some big juicy worms, a buzzing Bee, an inquisitive robin and some lovely neighbours. All eager to have a peak at what our green-fingers were getting up too.
The 2 hours flew by. After a thankful farewell from Ms M who was already planning the next phase to get the garden looking colourful and spring like we headed off and down the hill to find our well deserved Sunday coffee. Mission complete!!
