Would jubilee-ve it! She’s done 99 missions and Greenwich ain’t just one!
2 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Southwark.

I spent my bus journey home pondering ‘paint puns’ and ‘curtain puns’ but then I realised I had had the pleasure of sharing the lovely Mridula’s 99th mission with her, and who doesn’t love a little bit of Jay-Z!
Jubilee line dramas resulted in the most challenging part of the mission being to plan alternative routes whilst underground - we were in a sweat before the mission had started! I had originally planned to participate in the ‘good’ and not the ‘gym’ but the diversion resulted in me huffing & puffing my way through an impromptu run.
Our mission was to paint Mrs F’s curtain rail so that it blended it with the walls and coordinated with her living room.
Mridula was on painting duty and I was on drip duty, following in Mridula’s trail to make sure that every surface was as clean as when we had started. Gravity did us no favours but we managed to give the wooden rail two initial coats and catch the drips with lightening reflexes - we made quite the team!
As we painted, Mrs F told us tales of her estate and how she’d previously been awarded a grant to makeover the communal gardens. It was lovely to give back to someone that has done so much for the community herself.
The curtain rail may need another coat once Mrs F can see how it has dried.
Well done to Mridula, and good luck for the big 100!
