This was a fun fitness session this week! "Criss Cross" intervals are not only a great way to switch paces between sprints and recovery efforts, you also end the workout with a satisfying Strava art pattern.
We had a busy Saturday morning, with 5 Goodgym Islington runners taking on the session before logging on to our weekly coffee and zoom call. Steve C and James met up in Hackney Downs for their efforts, using the big long straights for their sprint efforts. Aidan traveled to the lovely green Thames Barrier Park for his workout, while Trainer Simon run to West Ham Memorial Park to run around a rugby pitch for his attempt. Not contented with just one workout, Kike run between Cally Park and Market Road Gardens to make awesome Criss Cross patterns across Islington!
Well done everyone, really lovely varied sessions in lots of great places.
