Good Afternoon Goodgymmers! Today's mission was for Ms. O who had a slipped disk on her back and was unable to do a couple of simple handy tasks around her home. I met the lovely Stefan, outside Ms O's house and and away we went.

Ms O was a control enthusiast - and I consider her to be a kindred spirit. She gave us aprons and gloves and masks and hand wash and wipes, which was an incredibly kind and thoughtful gesture. Thank you for taking care of us Ms O, we appreciate it.

We were given our tasks, the first of which was to remove a security camera for charging, which was perched high up on a door frame. I was once described as stumpy by a Doctor so tasks that involve reaching stuff is not where I shine. I relegated myself to be to be the anchor for Stefan's more task appropriate frame and held the stool whilst he sorted out unhooking the camera.

We were then taken upstairs, where Ms O's amazingness continued. We were asked to put a sofa that had come apart back together. The task was a bit involved so in the interest of social distancing, Ms O had set up a walkie talkie to instruct us whilst she stayed in the kitchen. Ms O, you are amazing and had thought of everything. Stefan and I got to work, where he used his burly muscles to manoeuvre the sofa, and I used my greatest strength - my stumpiness. Laying flat on the ground I helped him guide the sofa back into the correct place, thus proving that you can be a superhero and energy efficient at the same time.

We finished up and headed back out to the blustery day. We had a socially distant chat and headed home!

Stay safe goodgymmers! (I forgot to take any pictures so here is a picture of some PPE)
