You spin me right round
2 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Hackney.
- Wednesday, 2nd of October 2019
On Wednesday evening, two regular Hackney GoodGymers met in Clapton to dismantle a bed for Ms O.
We were taking apart her existing bed to make space for a new one to be delivered tomorrow so she can return from hospital.
We made light work of dissembling the bed, which was straightforward and quick - not even needing the screwdrivers her daughter had kindly provided. The time consuming job was removing the six legs, which needed spinning round a surprising number of times to unscrew. To make it more fun, we raced to see who could get the legs off fastest. Clair is the speediest spinner!
After transporting everything to a safe spot out of the way of tomorrow's bed delivery, the duo were done and headed home.
We hope you like your new bed Ms O!
