I had an early visit to Mr D today but he was on good form. He so looks forward to the visits and was asking if it was possible to get them extended. We talked about exercising and he showed me his exercise bike and suggested I have a go. He’s only able To do about 7 mins but he challenged me to do a 10 minute sprint. As a reward for my exertions he presented me with a lovely cuppa and a delicious Bakewell tart. He was then curious to hear about my other half who had his knee replaced 2 days ago. Mr D thought that a knee replacement involves having you whole leg cut off and reattached so was curious to see the post op photo with staples etc. He had a good laugh when I compared my hubby to Frankenstein and the bionic man. Hoping he is able to get some more visits as they’ve been good fun for us both.
