This morning I had to return to Hightown Baptist Church as I had been asked to complete a one woman task for them. They had amassed a large number of supermarket crates from food they have collected over the last few weeks for their coffee mornings. There were so many there yesterday that it had been hard to get into the cupboard to access the food for FoodCycle, and the minister had asked if it would be possible for me to collect them and return them to the store. I loaded up the car with as many as I could fit in, and drove them to Sainsburys. The staff were quite surprised to see me pushing my trolly piled so high that I couldn't see in front of it. But I managed to make it to the stock room without crashing into anyone and unloaded the crates without any mishaps. The Sainsbury's staff were please to have the crates returned and said they didn't mind us taking them as long as we bring them back. I guess we should also be crateful that they let us take them full of food and bring them back empty!
