Never a frown, with goldenrod
1 GoodGymer made their way to help the Luton Borough Council Parks and Countryside in Luton.

To Fallowfield, to lend a hand to the conservation volunteers in the effort to clear large clumps of invasive goldenrod from a riverside meadow. It’s a task to which we’ve dedicated quite a few hours over the last couple of summers, but the hard work is paying off. Lots more room for a variety of other species, including orchids. Great to work alongside the conservation volunteers and also to have a nice chat over a cuppa!
