Social Visit to Mrs J

What a fascinating afternoon I had visiting Mrs J this afternoon. She is 95 years old and had so many fascinating memories to share. She was also keen to show me her garden.

She well remembered the coronation of Queen Elizabeth 2 and shared her recollections of how different it was then watching on a tiny black and white tv compared to the wall to wall coverage of the recent coronation.
She also had lots of tales to tell about her parents’ romance, and how she fell in love at first sight with her late husband.

Looking forward to visiting her again.
